While snowed in at my apartment this past weekend, a friend/co-worker made the mistake of bringing up Norwegian Air, and the crazy good deals they’re offering on flights to Europe over the next several months.
I say mistake because now, I’m having an internal debate with myself over whether or not a trip to Scandinavia could be feasible.
A quick Monday afternoon search of NorwegianAir.com showed March flights as low as $180 from New York to Oslo. Tack on a return flight averaging just under $266, and well, that’s a deal that’s pretty hard to pass up.
Flights from New York to Copenhagen are even cheaper- starting at $175 at the beginning of March. Combine that with a $219 return flight on March 17, and that’s well below what I paid for my trip from Baltimore to New Orleans in October.
Naturally, the prices rise going into spring and summer- but at $645 for roundtrip travel in early June, it’s still a steal.
I’ve never been to Scandinavia, but I’d love to experience it- especially in the winter (the Northern Lights are pretty high up on my bucket list).
